A Physio-Control AED and heated outdoor cabinet were recently installed at the HQ of Definetz in Gut Drechen, Germany. This non-profit organization has committed itself to the increase in survival of sudden cardiac arrest, that kills over 100,000 Germans each year. Definetz increases public awareness, develops guidelines and is ‘mapping’ all German defibrillators. Their AED is now 24/7/365 available and we are a proud supporter of this organization! www.definetz.de

HeartSaver vzw realizes its 150th heart-safe school in Flanders

A great milestone reached in Belgium. Our partner Heartsaver vzw has now installed 150 AEDs at school facilities across Flanders. The Belgian minister of Education and Sports, Ben Weyts, also attended the celebration and emphasized the importance of 24/7 accessible AEDs. The respective school, Sint-Victor, is located centrally in the area. With the AED installed outside the school gates, it is also 24 hours a day available for people in the neighbourhood. We are proud to be part of this project with our Rotaid 24/7 cabinet. Many congratulations to Luc Ketele with this achievement.

BOVAG installs first of 100 AEDs at associations across the country

Great social engagement from the Dutch branche organization BOVAG!Together with its members, 100 AEDs with Rotaid cabinets will be installed at local, publicly accessible places such as sports venues, libraries, or schools. BOVAG members that request an AED will receive a personalized backboard, which will highlight their organization and will increase the AED’s findability and recognizability.
