Over 150 life saving stations at Mexico's most prestigious university: TEC
TEC de Monterrey, Mexico's largest and most prestigious university has a network of 37 campuses spanning 20 states. It boasts an impressive student body of over 100,000 and a dedicated faculty of 7,000 teachers. Recently, under coordination and execution by our Mexican distributor Cardioproteccion, all of TEC's campuses were equipped with AEDs and Solid Plus Indoor Cabinets and upgraded to Sitios Cardio Protegidos.
“Thanks to the sensibility of our management team and the ethical and moral compromise we have at the Tec de Monterrey, all of our professional healthcare teams are now committed to our community and saving lives. All of our campuses can now officially be called HeartSafe or better: Sitios Cardioprotegidos.”
To enhance safety across its expansive network, TEC de Monterrey has taken significant strides in heart health preparedness. Approximately 220 AEDs and 150 Solid Plus cabinets have been strategically deployed in 26 cities throughout Mexico. This initiative aims to provide swift and effective response in case of cardiac emergencies. Furthermore, plans are underway to upgrade select cabinets to 24/7 availability, ensuring round-the-clock access to lifesaving equipment. To complement these hardware installations, over 3,800 individuals have received comprehensive training in basic CPR and AED usage, empowering them to respond confidently in critical situations.
