Lloyds Banking Group starts roll out of emergency aid stations
As one of the leading financial services groups in the United Kingdom, Lloyds Banking Group operates under many well know brands, such as Lloyds, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and Scottish Widows. The Group is committed to supporting the UK's regions and communities, supporting the regeneration of low-income areas, addressing disparities, and fostering investment and growth.
The group has a strong presence throughout England with its banking offices and it is this vast, physical presence that led to the placement of 30 life-saving emergency aid stations over their Halifax branches. These stations consist out of a defibrillator and stop-the-bleed-kit and are accessible 24 hours a day via Rotaid's connected 247 cabinets. The outdoor placement makes the emergency stations available around the clock for both customers, employees and nearby inhabitants. The concept was developed by Rotaid's UK business partner Aero Healthcare.
Tailor made solution with impact
In close corporation with all project partners, the concept resulted in a seemless integration of Halifax' corporate branding guidelines. The blue brand is represented in the distinctive blue LED lighting on the Rotaid 247 connected cabinet. The bleed kit, in its distinctive red box, leave no room for interpretation. The custom made backboard, with clear signage and emergency instructions, offers clear guidance and maximum visibility.
Lloyds Banking Group has equipped 30 of its Halifax branches with the concept in a pilot project. The group aims to expand the project over more branches and other brands within the group.
