40 AEDs at city of Koszalin

Koszalin - Poland

In the heart of Koszalin, a lifeline has been woven into the city's fabric. The "Life Points" project, an ambitious endeavor born from the success of the earlier "Life Booth" initiative, has brought 40 AEDs to strategic locations across the city. This network of life-saving devices, accessible 24/7, is a testament to the commitment of the project's initiators: Paulina Waluk-Szyperska, Marek Szyperski, Tomasz Molesztak, and Michał Pelc.

The 40 defibrillators are strategically placed

27 stand alone, 5 are housed on buildings of various institutions, and 8 are mobile units, including 5 in MZK buses, 2 in Municipal Guard vehicles, and 1 in a police car. Each device is not only accessible to the public but also monitored, insured, and equipped with a notification system that alerts emergency services when activated.

A life-saving succes story

“In a recent incident, a defibrillator was successfully used to save a life. Though the device did not recommend a shock, it played a crucial role in the victim's survival.”

Empowering a prepared communty: The life points initiative in Kozalin.

Beyond the immediate life-saving potential, the project aims to foster a culture of preparedness and community engagement. By increasing access to life-saving equipment and promoting first aid training, the "Life Points" initiative empowers Koszalin's residents to take action in critical moments.
